Prime Four Nets Subsea Specialist.
A newly launched company, jointly owned by oil and gas industry giants Cameron and Schlumberger is to establish a new office at Prime Four business park in Aberdeen.
OneSubsea™ intends to take a 15-year tenancy at the park, from spring 2015, and its purpose built officecomplex will house 220 employees.
The new, sustainable accommodation will be 41,000 square feet and construction will begin in April 2014 subject to planning consents.
A detailed planning application on behalf of OneSubsea has now been submitted and will be considered shortly by Aberdeen City Council.
OneSubsea will join De Vere Hotels and major operator Premier Oil in Prime Four’s second phase. Also included in phase 2 is the Fourcourt plaza, designed to be the park’s social hub. Development of the plaza will see a wide range of additional amenities and services, including the provision of pre-school childcare at Kingswellies Nursery, introduced to the park.
Construction of phase 1 has concluded, with industry majors Nexen, Apache and Transocean having moved in early January.
“We are understandably delighted that OneSubsea has chosen Prime Four as a new office location, and their arrival further cements the park’s growing reputation as a world-class working environment for the energy industry,” commented Drum Managing Director Graeme Bone.
“Prime Four is now well on the way to becoming one of the world’s major energy hubs and we are confident that the critical mass that has now been established will see other leading lights in the sector come on board in future phases.”
